Day 1 - Sketching Five students attended the Young class taught by Janis and Salhu; seven attended the Older Class taught by Vikhor and Chuck.We began with some drawing exercises using "blind contour." Next came practice drawing the human face. We also explored the use of color to convey emotion. The final project was to draw a self portrait and color it with oil pastels.
