Gallery Staff & Chuck's B-day

In last Monday's Staff meeting at Reflection Art Gallery, as we were discussing the Made To Create ethos, the artists observed how important the times were when we ate together - Mondays after Staff meeting, and on Tuesdays and Saturdays in between classes.

This Saturday in addition to eating together, they surprised Chuck with a birthday cake.

Art With Those Least Likely To Get Such Opportunities

We were privileged to visit Diversion/Horizon Houses again recently. Here we are with the girls in Diversion House. Most of the original batch who "graduated" to Horizon House last August are now working in supervised settings, soon to be independent, or have returned to their families. This newer batch at Diversion House will remain until August, when they too will "graduate" to Horizon House in preparation for job training and independent living. Funds derived from our Made To Create Art classes make it possible for us to bring this activity to these girls in cooperation with Catalysts.

We also started a preschool class on this day. After class, one of the students was having fun with balloons.
