We completed two September classes on Saturday and will complete the final September class this Wednesday - these are the very last classes we will ever teach in Reflection Art Gallery. The Gallery is being closed as the Art for Change Foundation is shifting studios and artist-residencies to Dwarka, an outskirt to Delhi on the way to the Airport. The Foundation will also begin piloting an art ashram in Dwarka.
It's a bittersweet time of reflection - the past several years have been rich times of collaborating with the Gallery and Foundation. The Made to Create team will continue as a project of the Foundation, but will be mobile - holding classes, workshops and seminars in temporary facilities, primarily in South Delhi.
The name tag tree from a previous post is a reminder of all the people we have been privileged to interact with in our activities these past years. Below is a card one of our repeat students in the childrens class made for us that reflects our feelings too...
